The debut feature of British director John Jencks, The Fold stars Catherine McCormack and Dakota Blue Richards with a breakthrough performance from Bulgarian actress Marina Stoimenova. 

Leaving the city for the wilds of Cornwall, Anglican priest Rebecca Ashton forms a volatile friendship with migrant worker Radka Dimitrova. Memories of her deceased daughter bring her ever closer to the girl, warping their relationship until they become a danger to one another.

The Fold was shot in Bristol and Cornwall in 2012 with a budget of £1.2m. It was produced by Jay Taylor and Alexa Seligman at The Electric Shadow Company with executive producers Margaret Matheson and Joe Simpson.
